A delegation headed by Deputy Defense Minister David Tonoyan visited Kansas and held meetings as part of the Armenia-Kansas cooperation program, news.am reported with reference to the Armenian Defense Ministry on Aug. 5.
The meetings were held with Governor of Kansas Sam Brownback and Adjutant-General Lee Tafanelli. During the meeting they discussed the expansion of cooperation between the Armenian Armed Forces and the National Guard of Kansas.
In conclusion, a declaration was signed.
Tonoyan will also observe the medical exercises. Along with the U.S, five representatives of the military-medical department of the Armenian Armed Forces are involved in the exercises.
