The Armenian police removed 80-90 cars to the car pound because the drivers honked by expressing support for the protesters on the Baghramian Avenue, one of the protesters said June 27 morning, Armenia Today reported.

He said that the police had no right to remove the cars.

"We urge the police to return the citizens' cars," he said. "They were simply honking on the city streets and wanted to show their support. Can the cars be removed because of this? It is not indicated in the law.

"Some 30 cars are under arrest in the central police station, while 80-90 cars - all over the city," he said.
