The New Armenia Public Salvation Front struggling against the constitutional amendments in Armenia is launching around-the-clock sit-in in Yerevan's Liberty Square, the Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian said, Armenian media reported.

He went on to add that they will stay overnight in the Square in shifts.

Another rally will be held today, Dec.2, at 6:00 p.m. (GMT + 4 hours), which will again be followed by a march.

The march of the New Armenia Public Salvation Front struggling against the constitutional amendments kicked off from Yerevan's Liberty Square Dec.1.

The referendum on constitutional amendments will take place on December 6. Pursuant to the new draft Constitution, the country will make a transition from a semi-presidential to a parliamentary system of governance.
