Estonian road companies interested in cooperation with Georgia

Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Ramaz Nikolaishvili met with the head of the road department of the southern region of Estonia Andrus Pruk and leaders of the Estonian road companies, accompanying him, the department told Trend on Tuesday.

Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Ramaz Nikolaishvili met with the head of the road department of the southern region of Estonia Andrus Pruk and leaders of the Estonian road companies, accompanying him, the department told Trend on Tuesday.

According to information the sides discussed the possibility of exchanging experiences in the field of road infrastructure and deepening cooperation during the meeting. The conversation also touched upon the question of inclusion of Estonian companies in tenders announced by the Ministry.

Nikolaishvili informed the guests about large infrastructure projects carried out in Georgia.
It was also agreed that a memorandum of understanding will be signed between the departments of roads of Georgia and Estonia in the near future. Georgian specialists will be trained in Estonia improve professional skills.

During the visit the Estonian delegation will host a seminar, which will discuss the activities of road administration of the country, current and planned infrastructure projects.
