Former Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri assumed his duties as head of "Partnership Fund". Office of the "Partnership Fund" is situated in the Georgian Parliament's building - in the presidential flank.

Presentation of the "Partnership Fund" is expected to take place in the next few days. However, former prime minister has already started his work and is actively holding a variety of meetings, Gilauri's Secretariat told reporters on Thursday.

"Partnership Fund" was established in 2011. Its main goal is to complete the suspended projects, attracting investment, job creation and economic development. Source of financing for the Fund are funds attracted from international financial institutions, private sector, proceeds from privatization, and dividends from enterprises / companies that are established by the fund, handed over to the fund by the state and enterprises / companies that are in direct state ownership.

The Fund considers projects if their cost is at least five million lari ($ 1 = 1.65 lari) for the agrarian sphere and at least 30 million lari for the agricultural sector.
