No dramatic changes are expected between the United States and Georgia, U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Richard Norland said after meeting with Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze.

In his words, he had the possibility to discuss this issue with Bidzina Ivanishvili.

According to the ambassador, the election process is carefully observed and normal transfer of power is expected.

In Vashadze's words, the power will soon be constitutionally transferred and all the positive aspects have to be kept, including relations between US and Georgia.

"We have discussed the strengthening of strategy development and future goals planned in diplomatic relations between two countries," Vashadze said.

In his words, the myth on Mikheil Saakashvili being a modernizer not a democrat was once more demystified.

"Georgia has become a developed country since 2003 and has made a huge progress in all fields. Our president has personally become a guarantor for peaceful and constitutional transfer of power, conducted for a first time in our country," Georgian MFA stated.

Answering to the question of journalists on his cooperation with new cabinet of ministers in case of respective proposal, Vashadze said yesterday he has officially joined the National Movement
