Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs of USA Philip Gordon will arrive in Georgia on Thursday night.
According to the U.S. embassy in Georgia, during the visit Philip Gordon will meet with Speaker of Georgian parliament David Usupashvili and parliamentary minority leader David Bakradze.
Also scheduled meeting with Foreign Minister of Georgia Maia Panjikidze.
The meetings will focus on preparation for the visit of Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili to the USA.
Visit of Georgian Prime Minister is scheduled for late November.
