Foreign importers showed interest in Georgian Marneuli food factory's products, which took part in the prestigious exhibition of food and drinks in Great Britain. The canned pickles and other products of the factory will appear on the markets in England and other European countries soon, the factory said on Saturday.

According to the report, "Marneuli food factory" represented Georgia at the exhibition in Great Britain. The companies from 50 countries attended it. Georgian products such pickles, jams, "satsebeli", "tkemali" sauces, prepared according to the national recipes, gained universal recognition at the exhibition.

"Our products aroused great interest among visitors and exhibitors," director of the company Irina Gaprindashvili said. "Particular attention was paid to the jams. Many foreigners like our products. Currently, the factory is negotiating with all interested companies. The participation in such exhibitions is of great importance for delivering the products to the foreign markets."

She said that the export of Marneuli products to England began on March 18. It will be sold in this country at the Sunday markets. Paradise apple and watermelon jams will also appear in London.
