Personnel changes took place at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, according to information released by the ministry on Monday.

Alexander Chikaidze replaced Mikheil Chikvaidze as chief of Tbilisi Headquarters of Internal Affairs.

The Police Department chief of the Gldani-Nadzaladevi municipality Georgi Turiashvili was replaced by Grigol Beselia.

Shalva Bedoidze became the chief of the Old Tbilisi Police Department, replacing Lasha Shalvashvili.

Mukhrana Lobjanidze replaced Vano Papiashvili in the post of chief of Isani-Samgori police department.

Personnel changes that took place at the Georgian Interior Ministry System also happened in other regions.

Gocha Persashvili became the chief of the Guria regional police department, replacing Zaza Petriashvili in this position. Samtskhe-Javakheti regional police department is now headed by Rezo Mumladze instead of Vakhtang Talakhadze.

In Mtskheta-Mtianeti Mikheil Khorugashvili was replaced in the position of chief of the regional police department by Ivane Zurabishvili.
