Three more people decided to take part in the presidential campaign in Georgia.

According to the Georgian CEC, the candidates were nominated by the "For a Fair Georgia" party (Sergo Javakhadze), as well as two initiative groups - George Chikhladze and Merab Gorgadze.

Earlier, Shalva Natelashvili (Labour Party), Mikheil (Gela) Saluashvili (initiative group), Tariel Khvedelidze (initiative group), George Gahokiya (initiative group), Mamuka Chokhonelidze (initiative group), Nikoloz Gorgidzhinadze (initiative group) and the president of "EU-Georgian-Abkhazian-Ossetian international movement for peace, democracy and development" Nestan Kirtadze (initiative group) were presented to the CEC.

The Central Electoral Commission refused from registering Tariel Khvedelidze and George Gahokiya.

The registration of candidates for the Georgian president will begin on September 7 and will end on September 27.

All candidates must collect at least 26,530 signatures each.
