Iranian citizen, suspected of murder in Georgia, wanted

Interpol is involved in searching for the murderer of a 16-year-old girl in Georgia. The crime was committed in Batumi last week. The Georgian Interior Ministry reported that the country's law enforcement agencies disclosed the case of the brutal murder of 16-year-old Mariam Kochiladze on the boulevard in Batumi.

According to the report, the Georgian Interior Ministry is looking for 28-year-old Iranian citizen Ruintan Mohammed suspected of the murder through Interpol.

According to the Interior Ministry, Ruintan arrived in Georgia through the Sarpi checkpoint on the Georgian-Turkish border on June 23 and left the country immediately after the murder on July 22 evening.

There are testimonies of eyewitnesses who testify against the Iranian citizen.

The Georgian side also appealed to Turkey to detain the Iranian citizen and hand him over to Georgia.
