Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili promised that all members of his Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia coalition, who will interfere in election campaign, will be excluded from the coalition. He said this on Thursday, commenting on the reports of attack on the activists of oppositional United National Movement party headed by the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili.

The activists of the ruling Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia coalition threw stones and water bottles at United National Movement members, who were conducting primaries last Saturday in Zugdidi. The incident also occurred in Batumi. As a result, 12 people were detained and fined on charge of disorderly conduct.

"The members of the coalition may not be those who hinder our opponents from acting normally and behave the way they once behaved with us. Such people will be excluded from our ranks," Ivanishvili said.

According to him, such actions are not in government's interest and it is necessary to establish who was involved in the incidents as quickly as possible.

"I do not understand why this process is taking too long," Ivanishvili said.
