Georgia, Tbilisi, October 19/ Trend, N.Kirtzkhalia/
SOCAR (the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) during a year, starting from November, will provide free gas to the objects belonging to religious structures of all confessions in Georgia. The corresponding memorandum was signed on Saturday.
The agreement was signed by Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II and SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev.
The parties expressed their satisfaction with the signing of the document.
Georgian Patriarch thanked Abdullayev and stressed that Georgian and Azerbaijani people have been living in brotherhood and peace for a long time already.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Georgian Minister of Energy Kakha Kaladze.
