Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maia Panjikidze has commented on the situation on the Georgian-Ossetian conflict line.

After voting in the presidential election Panjikidze told journalists that according to the Georgian Interior Ministry Georgian-Ossetian conflict line is closed and the population is not allowed to cross it to take part in the election.

"We have informed international organizations and the European Union's observer mission about this, and we are trying to peacefully render all possible assistance to these people without provocations and complexity of the situation," Maia Panjikidze said.
