National Bank of Georgia has kept monetary policy rate unchanged at 3.75 percent.
On Dec. 18 the Monetary Policy Committee of the National Bank of Georgia decided to leave the monetary policy rate unchanged at the previous level of 3.75 percent.
The National Bank told Trend that the prices change in line with forecasts of the National Bank, and as it was expected, the inflation will come closer to the target indicator in late 2014.
A slight increase was recorded in economic activity in the fourth quarter. According to preliminary estimates, in October the economy grew by 3.9 percent.
The next meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee will be held on February 12, 2014.
