In 2014 the Co-investment Fund of Georgia will initiate projects worth $1.150 million.
As the head of the fund Giorgi Bachiashvili told journalists on Jan.16, a few more projects may be added to the list those already planned.
"At the same time, I would like to stress that this amount will be used fully not only this year. Projects of such an amount will be initiated," Bachiashvili said.
At this stage, the Co-investment Fund approved one project on establishing an enterprise for processing milk. The fund will implement it jointly with the Ukrainian Tera food company and invest $50 million.
Acting Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said earlier that the fund established by former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili, holds six billion dollars.
