Georgian Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri discussed the details of the annual meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development that will be held in Georgia in 2014 and will be attended by finance ministers of 34 countries.
Khaduri made the statement on Jan.28 at a joint press conference with EBRD Regional Director Bruno Balvanera.
"Such a large-scale event hasn't been held in Caucasus. Many businessmen will visit Georgia and I'm confident that this event will open many opportunities for our country. We can confidently say that Georgia will be the epicenter of the global event in May, 2015 and our country is given a chance to attract investments of unprecedented significance," Khaduri said.
In connection with this Bruno Balvanera made a statement. He said that this event could be held in London, but Great Britain turned out unready for this.
