Tbilisi is hosting a meeting of the NATO Military Committee.
Georgia is a reliable military partner of the alliance and relations with it are established on the principles of self-esteem, Committee Chairman, General Knut Bartels said opening the meeting.
The general thanked the Georgian side for its productive cooperation with NATO and familiarised the meeting's participants with the agenda.
"The agenda includes three issues which include relations between Georgia and NATO, future cooperation and Georgia's participation in NATO operations," Bartels said.
The outbound meeting of the NATO Military Committee in Tbilisi is being held for the first time.
