European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule is paying a two-day visit to Tbilisi starting March 4.
Fule will meet with the Georgian president, Prime Minister, Speaker of the Parliament, representatives of the opposition and civil society as part of the visit, the Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend.
The relevant issues of relations between the EU and Georgia, in particular, the association and free trade agreement, as well as the opportunities of this agreement for Georgian residents will be the main topics of the meetings.
Fule and Georgian State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Alexi Petriashvili will sign a memorandum of support for the reform of public finances. The commissioner and chairman of the Georgian Parliament David Usupashvili will sign a memorandum of support for the Georgian Parliament.
