Georgian former Economy Minister Kakha Bendukidze will be summoned to the prosecutor's office.

Bendukidze will be summoned to the prosecutor's office on March 18, the Georgian prosecutor's office told Trend on March 17. The prosecutor's office will make a statement about the details of the case later.

The matter rests in Bendukidze's purchasing the Agricultural University for 1 lari ($ 1 = 1.75), according to the preliminary data.

Bendukidze said that he bought the university and its buildings for five million lari and invested 17 million lari there.

Former Minister of Education Dmitry Shashkin will be also summoned to give testimony in the prosecutor's office.

The Agricultural University was privatized during his activity.
