The Georgian leadership is ready to intensify the reform process in order to prepare a solid foundation for the effective implementation of the Association Agreement, the Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze said.

"Georgia steadily pursues the course of European integration, which is the cornerstone of both foreign and domestic policy," the minister said at the international conference, "Economic integration with the European Union - Prospects and Opportunities".

The authorities are ready to strengthen the democratic development course in order to take a place in the European and Euro-Atlantic structures, according Panjikidze

"The Georgian government has already started preparation of the reform strategy with the commitments made in the framework of the Association Agreement. Along with that we actually complete the negotiations with the EU regarding the association, which aims to implement the agreement and to facilitate the preparation of this process over the next three years," the Georgian FM said.
