Georgia's Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili visited a mosque in Batumi city during his visit to Adjara.

Garibashvili visited the mosque and met with the mufti of All Georgia Jamal Paksadze and the local Muslims, Georgian government's press service told Trend on April 3.

Following the working meetings, the prime minister visited the boarding school named after Saint Matafa.

Garibashvili also met with the Batumi and Lazeti Metropolitan Dimitri, and together they visited the Art Academy, which is under construction.

He also met with the pupils of the boarding school and reviewed their works.

The children presented several musical performances in honor of the guests.

The prime minister's visit to this region concluded with these events.
