In the last several days, an information was spread about a queue of the residents of Georgian Samtskhe-Javakheti region in front of the Interest Section building of the Russian Federation at the Embassy of Switzerland in Georgia, wishing to obtain Russian passport.

"This information was disseminated by the media. At this stage, the Georgian Foreign Ministry is verifying it. I hope that I will have legitimate information in a few days, " the diplomat said.

Regarding the queues, Zalkaniani said that this is normal, as various consular procedures are implemented there.
