Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili expressed support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and a hope that the situation will be settled without any further victims.
"We support Ukraine and are worried about what is happening there," he said.
Georgian president added that it is desirable to relieve tensions in Ukraine without casualties and to save the country's territorial integrity, which is supported not only by Georgia, but also by all civilized world.
Margvelashvili also urged all international organizations and western partners to support the Ukrainian government for "the main thing - the presidential elections to take place and for them to be held effectively and legitimately."
"All issues in this context should be settled peacefully," Margvelashvili added.
