Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with a delegation of representatives of the largest Belgian business companies in Tbilisi, Prime Minister's office told Trend on April 18.

The issues concerning the investment sphere were discussed during the meeting. It was stressed that the Georgian leadership is focused on protection of property rights.

The delegation headed by Prince Juan Bagrationi and Benjamin Van Oudenhove included senior officials of 15 leading Belgian business companies.

"We are satisfied, as we see that the new Georgian authorities are actually doing much to improve the investment sphere," Benjamin Van Oudenhove said. "It is very important when businessmen and potential investors get information directly from the senior officials."
