Tbilisi hosted a presentation of the modern high-tech cement plant construction project on April 25. The plant will be built in the city of Poti. Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and members of the government attended the presentation.
"The project implementation will be a clear example of the country's economic development," Garibashvili said.
A modern cement plant, equipped with the latest technologies with a production capacity of 250,000 tons of cement per year, will be built in Poti in accordance with the draft prepared by "Leader cement" company and French LAFARGE. The plant construction contributes to the creation of 50 new jobs for residents of the city.
Some $10 million will be invested in the construction as part of the first stage of the project implementation.
