Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze has held a meeting with the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Thomas Melia in Tbilisi, Georgia.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the wide rage of issues related to the bilateral cooperation, as well as the prospects for signing the association agreement with the European Union by June, 2014, Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend on April 25.

Additionally, the regional security issues, including the developments in Ukraine, were also discussed at this meeting.

The parties also touched upon the prospects for deepening of the Georgian-U.S. strategic partnership.
