By Nana Kirtzkhalia - Trend:

The number of voters at municipal elections in Georgia may increase.

The report of the State Services Development Agency submitted to the Georgian Central Election Commission specified 3,533,673 potential voters, though the number of voters in the districts makes up 3,491,105 people on the CEC website.

The chairman of the State Services Development Agency Joseph Bagaturia transmitted new data to the CEC Chairman Tamar Zhvania.

"We are grateful to the agency for their hard work. The CEC will process the presented data within the statutory period and make it public. Thereafter, all interested parties will be able to get these lists and double-check them," Zhvania told journalists.

Updated voter lists will be transferred to the precinct commissions on May 16, following of which the voters can verify their names.

Municipal elections will be held in Georgia in June 15.
