The World Bank Board of Directors approved a new strategy of cooperation with Georgia.

WB Executive Director Frank Heemskerk had a telephone conversation with Georgian Minister of Finance Nodar Khaduri on May 14 and congratulated him on the WB Board of Directors' decision to approve a new strategy of cooperation with Georgia for 2014-2017, the Georgian Ministry of Finance told Trend.

"It is important that this strategy is fully consistent with the socio-economic development strategy (Georgia 2020) worked out by the Georgian government and envisages promoting competition, human resources and availability of finance," the Ministry of Finance said.
