The interior ministers of Georgia and Latvia signed an agreement on cooperation in preventing the emergency situations on May 30 in Batumi.
The document was signed by Alexander Chikaidze and Rihards Kozlovskis.
This agreement is of great importance for Georgian and Latvian interior ministries for deepening the partner relations in preventing the natural and man-made emergency situations and elimination of their consequences, Georgian Interior Ministry told Trend.
