A coordination meeting will be held between the members of Georgia's Parliamentary Committee for Regional Policy and Self-Government and representatives of donor organizations in Tbilisi, Georgia's capital, today on June 2.
At the meeting the parties will discuss the prospects for reformation in the sphere of regional policy, coordination mechanisms and involvement of the donor organizations in these processes.
The meeting will be attended by the members of Georgia's Parliamentary Committee for Regional Policy and Self-Government, heads of the country's Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Finance Ministry, Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Agriculture.
Moreover, representatives of the European Union, Council of Europe, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, United Nations Development Bank (UNDP), U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and German Technical Cooperation Agency (GTZ) will also take part at the meeting.
