The Japanese government will grant some $5 million to Georgia for purchasing medical equipment, in accordance with the agreement signed between Georgia’s Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri and Japan’s ambassador to this country, Toshio Kaitani on June 19.

The Japanese government will grant some $5 million to Georgia for purchasing medical equipment, in accordance with the agreement signed between Georgia's Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri and Japan's ambassador to this country, Toshio Kaitani on June 19.

The non-project grant will be used for the needs of Georgia's Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs.

Georgia has received a total of four billion yens of financial aid from Japan since 1997.
