David Pataraya has been appointed the head of Georgian presidential administration.

The presidential administration told Trend on June 19 that previously Pataraya served as parliamentary secretary to the Georgian president.

Pataraya also previously worked at Georgia's Central Election Commission, Parliament, and the National Communications Commission.

He also worked as a lawyer and delivered lectures at the Tbilisi State University. He is an associate professor.

Today, Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili also signed an order appointing Giorgi Kverenchkhiladze his parliamentary secretary.

Kverenchkhiladze has served as Pataraya's deputy since 2014.
