Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili introduced two candidates namely, Zurab Dzlierashvili and Nino Bakakuri for the parliament’s consideration for membership of the Supreme Court, the Georgian Presidential Administration told Trend.

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili introduced two candidates namely, Zurab Dzlierashvili and Nino Bakakuri for the parliament's consideration for membership of the Supreme Court, the Georgian Presidential Administration told Trend.

The Presidential Administration also noted that Dzlierashvili is a graduate of the Law Faculty of Tbilisi State University. He is also PhD, Full Professor of Tbilisi State University, a member of the Dissertation Council at the Faculty of Law. Since 2013, Dzlierashvili has been serving as chairman of the Board of Education of the Georgian Lawyers Association.

Bakakuri worked at the Young Lawyers Association in 1998-2004, and since 2004 she has been Senior Legal Advisor at the Georgian Judges Association. From 2008 until present she works at the "Nodia Urumashvili & Partners".

It is assumed that the Georgian parliament will approve the candidacy of the one of the nominated judges for the Supreme Court of Georgia at its extraordinary session.
