Georgia's First Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani has met with Canadian ambassador to Georgia John Holmes.

The two sides discussed the dynamics of the bilateral cooperation, the priority issues and the prospects for intensifying the cooperation in bilateral and multilateral format, Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend on July 28.

They also touched upon Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as the significance of the association agreement signed with the EU.

The meeting participants talked about the expectations from the upcoming NATO summit.
The Canadian side reiterated its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
