Georgian parliament didn't support the candidacies proposed by the country's President Giorgi Margvelashvili for the Supreme Court judges.

Georgian president submitted to the parliament the candidacies of Nino Bakakuri and Zurab Dzlierishvili for the post of Supreme Court judges.

At least 76 votes were needed for the approval of their candidacies, however, some 29 MPs supported Bakakuri's candidacy, while only 27 MPs voted for Dzlierishvili's candidacy.

Previously, the candidacies of Bakakuri and Dzlierishvili were approved by the parliamentary committees.
