By Nana Kirtzkhalia - Trend:

The Georgian governmental administration held the first meeting of the coordinating committee set up to start the process of acquiring Microsoft licensed copyright software.

The commission must consider the proposals of owners of licensed copyright software, and ensure preparing the draft memorandum of understanding by late 2014. Working out the proposals might require improvement of the legislative base.

If an agreement is reached, the state agencies will acquire Microsoft licensed copyright software.

The commission is led by the head of the administrative governance department of the governmental administration Ilia Begiashvili.
