The unemployment level decreased in Georgia compared to previous years, head of the Employment Department of the Social Services Agency of the Georgian Ministry of Health Tea Sturua told media referring to the Georgian National Statistics Service.

"Around 56.6 percent of the population of Georgia were provided with jobs in 2012, while 56.8 percent in 2013," she said.

"The number of unemployed decreased to 15 percent in Georgia in 2012, while 14.6 percent in 2013 compared to previous years," she said.

There is no data on unemployment in Georgia as of 2014.
