Israeli investors interested in implementing major projects in Georgia

Representatives of Israeli investment companies are interested in implementing major economic projects in Georgia.

Georgian government's press service told Trend on Sept. 9 that this issue was discussed at a meeting of representatives of investment companies of Israel and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.

During the meeting Garibashvili briefed Israeli businessmen about the investment environment in Georgia, and informed them about the realization of current and planned projects.

The press service said the representatives of the Israeli investment companies Kitaiminvest, Plarium and Pegasus EastWest Ltd declared their intention to implement large-scale projects in Georgia in the sectors of energy, agriculture and others.

The government of Georgia also intends to cooperate with these investment companies in the area of high technologies.
