In case of a political crisis in the country, the head of the Georgian state may terminate the privileges of the parliament, President George Margvelashvili said in an interview with the Imedi TV company.
"I will act in terms of the particular situation. It's my responsibility," the president said. "In moments of acute political crises the president can dissolve the parliament, but that kind of situation hasn't occurred in Georgia so far."
