Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili considers a resolution adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) as a continuation of the struggle between the United National Movement and the state.

"This is the PACE resolution," Garibashvili said. "It mainly expresses the position of the parties. The United National Movement is a member of the European People's Party. Indeed, there are no reasons for the excitement. You saw the main text of the resolution. They also went over about positive features."

PACE has recently adopted a resolution on Georgia. It called on the Georgian authorities to refrain from political persecution.
