The 26-century-old Georgian-Jewish anniversary will be celebrated in Georgia on Oct.20-22.
An Israeli delegation consisting of 130 people representing the country's executive and legislative authority will visit Georgia to participate at the event.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili is expected to meet with the Israeli delegation.
Moreover, a Georgian-Israeli business forum will be held as part of the events, according to the press service of Georgian prime minister.
It is also planned to open the David Baazov Museum of History of Jews of Georgia, to hold presentation of books published for the event, as well as great Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli's "The Knight in the Panther's Skin" poem, translated into Hebrew.
A classical and folk music concerts will also be held during the events marking the anniversary of Georgian-Jewish friendship.
