The Georgian police have blocked the Rikoti tunnel connecting the western and eastern Georgia for several hours.
The reason was the explosion of an Opel car, which collided with a Ford Transit minibus, the Georgian media reported.
The explosion caused no casualties, as other drivers were able to save people.
The Rikoti tunnel was closed for several hours because of the smoke.
At present, the tunnel movement is free.
A criminal case was filed. The investigation is carried out under Article 276 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (violation of safety rules and operation of the vehicles).
