Georgian Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri has appointed his first deputy Giorgi Tabuashvili the head of the Revenue Service, the ministry said Dec. 8.
Irakli Gvaramadze has headed the Revenue Service since February 2014. He will continue working at the Georgian Finance Ministry.
Tabuashvili has served as Georgian First Deputy Foreign Minister since January 2013. Earlier, he worked at various periods in the private sector and international financial institutions. He has a Master of Economic Sciences from University of Illinois as well as a Master's Project Management Certificate from George Washington University.
