Estonian Foreign Minister Keit Pentus-Rosimannus will pay an official visit to Georgia Dec. 19, the Georgian foreign ministry told Trend.
Georgia is the first country, after a number of the Baltic countries and Scandinavia, to be visited by Estonia's new minister.
"We consider this visit as an expression of Estonia's special support and solidarity with Georgia," the speaker of the Georgian foreign ministry David Kereselidze said.
During the visit, Pentus-Rosimannus will meet with the Georgian president, prime minister and foreign minister.
The sides will discuss bilateral relations and European integration of Georgia.
