The Georgian coast guard detained Turkish seiner "Burak Balık Cılık" for violation of the border regime - sailing without a means of communication.
According to the Code of Administrative Offences, the captain was fined 500 lari ($ 1 = 1.91 lari), the Georgian Border Police said Dec. 22.
Turkish vessels are engaged in fishing in Georgian waters upon a license.
