Georgian Agriculture Minister Otar Danelia met with representatives of the China National Electric Import & Export Corporation Dec. 25.
The corporation was founded in 1980. Its annual turnover exceeds $ 6.3 billion.
The head of the Chinese delegation said that the corporation is diversified, the Georgian Ministry of Agriculture told Trend.
Its priority is to develop the agricultural infrastructure and to introduce new technologies in the agrarian sector.
At present, the corporation has trade relations with 140 world's countries.
Danelia informed the guests about the priorities of Georgia's agricultural sector. On behalf of the ministry, he expressed readiness to maximally support the new Chinese investments in the country's agriculture.
The sides agreed about another working meeting in the near future. The specific plans and cooperation areas will be discussed.
