Estonia has offered Georgia usage of its expertise and support, Estonian Prime Minister Taavi Rõivas said at a briefing in Tbilisi Jan. 12 following a meeting with his Georgian counterpart Irakli Garibashvili.

Estonia has offered Georgia usage of its expertise and support, Estonian Prime Minister Taavi Rõivas said at a briefing in Tbilisi Jan. 12 following a meeting with his Georgian counterpart Irakli Garibashvili.

"Estonia expresses its full support for Georgia on the way to Europe," Rõivas said.

He said that the Georgian population and the government are firmly moving to their goal.

"Regarding Georgia's way to Europe and NATO, the population and the government of Georgia firmly declare that it is their way," Rõivas said. "This is a very important signal. Estonia has recently reached this way. It saw that the further changes will improve the lives of the residents of Estonia. We can recommend this issue to Georgia. We have already agreed that we will offer Georgia support, expertise on the main areas. We believe it is our duty."

Rõivas paid a two-day visit to Georgia Jan. 12.
