A greenhouse will be built in Zugdidi district, Georgia with financial support from the Japanese government, the Japanese embassy in Georgia told Trend Jan. 16.

The project cost is $92,622.

The relevant agreement was signed by Japanese Ambassador Toshio Kaitani and head of the "Agora" association Tengiz Svanidze.

The project envisages the construction of a greenhouse in the Rike village, Zugdidi district. The Japanese government will allocate funds to construct it, as well as cover its expenses at the initial stage. The project will help improve the socio-economic conditions of Abkhazia's refugees living in Rike. A stable source of income will be created and the unemployment will be reduced.
