Garibashvili thanked the Swiss side for mediation in relations with Russia. He also informed about the course of negotiations in the Geneva format and the Abashidze-Karasin format.

Burkhalter said that Switzerland is considering Georgia as a special partner.

The attention was paid to the prospects of intensifying the Georgian-Swiss relations, in particular economic cooperation.

It was stressed that Special Representative for the South Caucasus Angelo Gnaedinger appointed by Switzerland will continue working at this post by late 2015.
